A new step is now the www.avalancheday.org portal the main goal of our association is to build a “place”, a meeting place for all those interested in developing and spreading knowledge about this war event and its importance for the history of Italy and the World.
The portal, written in English and Italian, tells about those days in 1943. It will host the Avalanche archive, a catalog of available resources on the history of the landing and the description of objects that are collected thanks to the collaboration of the families.
The project was supported by the Campania Region in the framework of support for cultural initiatives, by MIBAC through the National Fund for historical re-enactment and Erasmus Programme.
It is currently composed of a section that tells the stories of the Avalanche operation, one to its characters and the third about the places where these events occurred.
