From 10 to 14 September 2026, the Opladener Geschichtsverein and the Jülicher Geschichtsverein will welcome partners from ten European cities for the international workshop “StadtRäume / UrbanSpaces – Europa vor Ort”. Among them, Mubat and Battipaglia will contribute their perspective on the history of Campania and share their experience in the use of technology for cultural heritage.
The workshop will focus on the future of the European network, the development of new joint projects, and an exchange of ideas on how to make urban history, democracy, and the culture of remembrance even more accessible and engaging in the future, particularly for young people..
