This year will be the 80th anniversary of the Allied landing in the Gulf of Salerno and, as it’s usual, the recurrences every 10 years take on greater importance.
For this reason we have already active since last september in order to creating an big event for this anniversary. The schedule is still being defined but we are going to realize with a good approximation :
27th january – Remenbrance Day at Battipaglia City Hall with IC Gatto Orchestra and an overview about the digital memories
21th june – Commemoration of the first Battipaglia Bombing
8th september – III edition of Radio Onda concert and History Telling show
9th september – conference for the III issue of Occupied Italy
10th september – VII edition of ceremony in the sector Roger with reenactment event
TBD – 1943 exhibition about the turning point of the warII
TBD – IV edition of Emersione Digitale workshop
Curricular internships are already underway such as laboratories in the schools like Seas of Peace project in collaboration with IC Alfonso Gatto and School of Palekastro.
