Carlo Bruno’s presentation, President of Mubat, at the “Digital Emergence” workshop introduced the digital museum of Operation Avalanche, developed as part of the TOCC-PNRR projects a project that represents an important starting point</a> for new initiatives aimed at disseminating the history of Operation Avalanche.
An important investment of nearly 90,000 euros, supported by the Ministry of Culture within the TOCC program. A starting point around which to bring together the interest of schools and universities.
The presentation took place during the annual “Digital Emergence” workshop, held on October 17 as part of the Erasmus Day organized by the Besta Gloriosi Institute of Battipaglia, and is included in the Avalanche Day 2025 program, sponsored and co-funded by the Campania Region and the Ministry of Culture.
The day opened with institutional greetings from the school principal, Carmen Miranda, and representatives of the Municipality of Battipaglia.

The event was held in the school’s Aula Magna, in front of an audience of final-year students. The first presentation, streamed from Paris, focused on the topic “Digital technologies for cultural heritage: a European opportunity” and was delivered by Professor Giovanni Pietro Vitali of the University of Versailles.
This was followed by a session on “Companies and training opportunities” for young people, led by Katya Corvino, head of the Italgas Heritage Lab, in collaboration with Matteo Allasia, also from the Heritage Lab.
