A technological project to build a digital archive was launched by the Mu.Bat Association (Battipaglia Museum) in 2017. Its aim is to collect and catalog resources found online or in different archives, creating an index of various types of documents related to Operation Avalanche, and to the war period in general.
The project has made available to citizens and schools a very advanced Cloud platform, the Archives Cloud, based on xDams Open Source Platform. The platform allows the construction of records in compliance with national and international standards for cultural heritage, and is provided free of charge to users thanks to an agreement with the company regesta.exe.
Since 2018, thanks to the patronage of the Campania Region, data is published with the innovative technology Linked Open Data.
