Reenactment and Radio Onda at night on September 14th for the eighty-first anniversary of the landing

The annual festival dedicated to the Allied Landing of September 9, 1943, enters in the executive phase.

The main innovation of this year is the realization, in a single evening, of the annual concert “Radio Onda” and the re-enactment of the landing with vintage military vehicles and associations of specialists who converge every September in Spineta.

The organization of the re-enactment event is in collaboration with the association “Noi Soldati al Fronte 1943-1945”. The evening program also includes the “White Roses Ceremony” and a show of acting, dancing and singing. The show, which in past years has hosted big actors of the caliber of Pia Lanciotti and Massimiliano Gallo, wants to promote young local artists. It will be the opportunity for the performance  of hundred male and female dancers from the dance schools of the province, a unique choral performance in the particularly challenging location of the beach. Valeria Graziani, accompanied by Maurizio Crivello’s guitar, will animate the soundtrack of the event.

As in all our initiatives, we are committed to the artistic growth of the young people involved and in fact dancers will carry out three days of training with internationally renowned choreographers such as Leon Cino and Luca Calzolaro.

The re-enactment concert is not the only event planned because, thanks to the international projects in which Mubat participates, the Digital Emergence Summer School “Il Patrimonio ReImmaginato” is scheduled from 10 to 13, aimed at researchers and specialists for the application of digital technologies to cultural heritage.

Between September 8 and 9, a tribute to the Commonwealth cemetery and the memory of the murder of General Gonzaga is planned, while on October 14 a conference in collaboration with the University of Salerno on Occupied Spaces, with researchers from Canada, Poland, Belgium and Italy.

Also in October, an exhibition on the “Two Capitals”, Salerno and Cava de Tirreni, respectively the seat of the Italian and Greek governments in 1944. A detailed program of events will be published in the coming days.
